Armor Health Receives “Best Practices” Recognition for COVID-19 Response Plan

Armor Health is proud to announce that the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) Office of Detention Oversight (ODO) has given a “Best Practices” grade to Armor Health and our partners at ICA Farmville for our COVID-19 response plan at the Farmville Detention Center.

The entire Armor Health family congratulates Medical Director Teresa Moore, Health Services Administrator Danielle Fifield, their entire team, and our partners at ICA Farmville for this distinction.

The “Best Practices” grade was granted by ODO after a recent inspection of the Detention Center.

“We are incredibly proud of the dedicated, compassionate, and exceptional work by the Armor Health team at ICA Farmville during this unprecedented year for all medical professionals,” says Armor Health Chief Medical Officer Dr. Jimmy Fernandez. He adds “This recognition by ICE’s ODO is well deserved as our team of clinicians have faced and overcome numerous challenges authored by the pandemic in an effort to provide reliable care during a time where COVID presents the unknown to frontline medical workers in every arena.”
