Dr. Rebecca Vauter Named Armor’s Chief Behavioral Officer

Congratulations to Dr. Rebecca Vauter for her promotion to the position of Chief Behavioral Officer. Before assuming this new role in January, Dr. Vauter was the interim Chief Behavioral Officer and the Regional Behavioral Health Director for Virginia. 

About the hiring, Armor Chief Medical Officer Dr. Jimmy Fernandez said “since agreeing to serve as Interim Chief in October 2020, she has proven herself to be a highly capable leader. We are all excited about the future of Armor’s Behavioral Health programs. Please join me in congratulating and thanking Dr Vauter.” 

Prior to joining Armor she was the Director/CEO of Central State’s Hospital in Petersburg, Virginia. In addition, Dr. Vauter served as the Clinical Director for Eastern State Hospital where she led psychology, social work, and psychosocial rehabilitation departments.
